Abandoned Farm Houses
Eastern Washington State has a long history of farming. Many farm houses built in the 1800's and early 1900's by pioneers have long since been abandoned, but they still remain standing as silent sentinels to an era gone by. Many of them have collapsed and disintegrated into the earth This personal project is a tribute to those pioneer families that once inhabited these homes.
Howard's second book, Abandoned Washington State, is now on sale. It features captivating photographs and the intriguing stories behind them for ghost towns, abandoned schoolhouses, urban, industrial and military locations. Signed copies are available directly from the author. |
